ABOUT US

About For Grief

We want to give you the resources and support you need when you need them. We’re on this journey together.

Grief is a personal journey, and one that can provide many unexpected detours and even roadblocks. It’s not something that anyone should have to navigate alone, even if you need to navigate it in your own way. That’s why we created For Grief, a place dedicated to offering unprecedented access to leading grief experts, plus a library of videos and other resources that provide the support you need, when you need it.

Our Story

For Grief was established as our founder, Jon Lefrandt, was looking for resources following the death of his beloved father. Jon realized there was a need for additional assistance for families who, like him, were experiencing loss in their own ways.

“As time went on, it became very clear that I needed some support,” Jon reflected on the five years that immediately followed his father’s death. Although Jon eventually connected with support to help navigate his grief, he recognized that others shouldn’t be stuck without the help they need for such an extended period.

“Grieving is a human experience,” Jon shared. “It’s something that every one of us will go through at some point in our life.”

At For Grief, we want to give you the resources and support you need, when you need them. We’re on this journey together.
